 Portishead are moving closer to finishing their eagerly-anticipated third album.It has now been an incredible nine years since their eponymous second album, the follow up to the award winning ‘Dummy.’Band lynchpin Geoff Barrow wrote on the band’s myspace page that the songs "are in a right mess but sounding like [an] album for the first time in years. It’s nice to think us old gits have a few tunes in us without sounding like coffee table Zero 7 / Moby chill out shit!!"Yet, on his personal site, Barrow expressed his frustrations at the industry, ranting: “Sometimes I feel like I'm just fuckin' useless at this lark.""We should hire 'Danger Mouse.'
